Solderless terminals, 0.1875" (3/16") spade quick disconnects.

EDCOR uses Solderless Quick Disconnect terminations. These small metal connectors are called spade lugs. You can connect to the terminals in two ways. You can use a female quick disconnect crimp connector (see below) or you can solder directly to the connector. The crimp connectors can be found at most electronic stores and make it easier to change tap positions on a transformer if needed. The plated connector is RoHS compliant.

EDCOR also supplies a female connector with some products. The specs for the female 0.1875" (3/16") connectors are as follows:

EDCOR uses US standard printed circuit board mounting bobbins for all PCB mounted transformers. A full mechanical drawing that show suggested pad size and hole placement is avalible for each model. The coil bobbin and pins are RoHS compliant.



 


UL1007 Lead Wire UL1007
PVC coated copper wire.

EDCOR's UL1007 lead wire is PVC coated stranded wire that comes out of the units for connecting to. The end of the lead wire has about a 1/4" of the PVC coating removed (stripped) and is solder dipped (tinned) with RoHS compliant solder for easy connection. Lead wires are usually connected by screw caps, butt type connectors, or soldered. Screw caps and butt type connectors can be found at most electronic or hardware stores.

UL1015 Lead Wire UL1015
PVC coated copper wire.

EDCOR's UL1015 lead wire is PVC coated stranded wire that comes out of the units for connecting to.
