Replacement power and audio output transformers for Fender Princeton 5F2-A guitar amplifier from 1954 to 1955.
Fender Princeton 5F2-A
The Fender Princeton 5F2-A is a 3 watt single ended class "A" guitar amplifier.
Power Transformer
The XPWR283 power transformers were specially designed and built for this amplifier. It come in a 120V 60 Hz., 230V 50/60Hz., or 240V50/60Hz. to 650V (325-0-325) at 100mA center tapped, 6.3V at 2.25A, and 5V at 3A.
Audio Output Transformer
The CXSE5-7K is a 5W, single ended tube output transformer for 7K Ohms to 4, 8 or 16 Ohms.
Magnet Wire
All units are wound with the finest virgin copper magnet wire. All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life.
The Core
EDCOR uses the finest M6 line grain oriented steel cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack.
The Bobbin
Injection molded Nylon 6/6 with the addition of 30%-35% glass fibers. The addition of glass fibers allows a higher heat deflection temperature and it brings the material to a class HB UL temperature classification.
Termination
The terminations are UL1015 color coded lead wire.
Mounting
These transformers are designed to replace the original stock transformers. You should still check to make sure that the dimensions of the transformers will fit in the space in your amplifier. Please see dimensional drawings on product pages.
