Description

Design
Specially designed to  to couple a stereo line level signal to a mono line level signal.

Primary (Input)
This is a stereo unbalanced 10K Ohms auxiliary line input. The connectors are an unbalanced standard phono (RCA type) jacks. This input is ideal for stereo CD players, tape decks, tuners or other stereo unbalanced auxiliary level inputs.

Secondary (Output)
This is a balanced 600 Ohms or unbalanced 10K Ohms line level output. The connector is a 3 pin screw Eurostyle connector for the balanced output and a phone (RCA type) jack for the unbalanced output. This line level output is ideal for telephone lines. signal processors, amplifiers, or any other units that have a balanced or unbalanced line input.

Magnet Wire
All units are wound with the finest virgin copper magnet wire. All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life.

The Core
EDCOR uses the finest M6 line grain oriented steel cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack.

The Bobbin
Injection molded Nylon 6/6 with the addition of 30%-35% glass fibers. The addition of glass fibers allows a higher heat deflection temperature and it brings the material to a class HB UL temperature classification.

Enclosure
The enclosure is a rugged black ABS plastic molded box for a clean look.

Surface Mounting
The unit is designed for surface mounting with the use of four screws or with double back tape (not provided). See dimensional drawing.
